HERB MARINATED LAMB CHOPS

Updated: Jan 18, 2023

Juicy, succulent lamb chops in a simple garlic-herb marinade. Ready in minutes and perfect for date night. Smoky lamb chops marinated in a five-ingredient marinade, Seeping with rosemary, garlic, and herb- flavors with a little kick in between bites. SUPER easy, fancy, and finger-licking good! A must-have for your summer nights grilling. This Lamb Chop is one of the recipes my Hubby makes for me at least once a month. It can be snowing or raining. He will pull out the grill and make me his Famous Grilled Lamb Chops. I put together his recipes for your guys' enjoyment. Side note I'm always making the side dish for this meal. I love adding Rice and French string beans to this meal.

Tips:

When choosing a lamb meat perfect for quick grilling, you choose around these three: rib, loin, or Lollipop. Shoulder or leg chops need a marinade to make them tender enough for grilling.

Let it marinate in the fridge in a dish or container covered with plastic wrap or Ziplock Bag.

Adjust grilling time depending on your preferred doneness of the meat.

After grilling, let the lamb chops rest for 10 minutes before serving them.

Ingredients

12 Lollipop lamb chops, about 3/4-inch thick

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary leaves

2 large garlic cloves, crushed

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

2 teaspoon coarse black pepper

2 Teaspoon Kosher Salt

2 Tablespoon Olive Oil

1 teaspoon Onion Powder

Instructions

Salt and pepper lamb chops. Set aside.

In a food processor or using a mortar and pestle, Blend Rosemary, Garlic, Onion Powder, Thyme, and Olive Oil

Marinate the lamb chops with the herb mixture for at least an hour. For best results, let it marinate overnight in the fridge. The longer, the better in a Ziploc Bag.

When ready to grill, bring lamb chops to room temperature. Remove marinate from chops.

Heat a grill, and cook lamb chops for about 3 1/2 -5 minutes per side, flipping once, until browned and cooked to desired.

When the lamb chops are done to your liking, take them off the grill and let them rest for at least 10 minutes.
