No need to go to a Sub Shop to get a delicious baked Sub sandwich. These Hot Baked Italian subs are so simple to make, yet delicious! I love that I can put them all together in one pan, then put them in the oven, and when they come out, dinner is ready!
No food goes to waste; I always try to make a different dish with my leftover food. I had many types of meat left over from my charcuterie board and had a king Hawaiian roll left over from my mini slider burgers Dwayne made, so I decided to make us a Hot Italian Sub Slider for lunch. I had all the ingredients in my fridge and pantry. Plus, Monday, I start my keto diet. So I wanted to consume all the bread before I took it out of my diet. King Hawaiian makes the best rolls, sweet, soft, light, and fluffy. It would help if you considered replacing your regular buns with these rolls. Well, I had a package hanging around and did not want it to go to waste and was thinking about what meal I could make. Italian Sub came to mind. I had all the Ingredients of a Hot Italian Sub; let us make a mini-sub using these Hawaiian rolls. The hubby is a big fan of sandwiches, so he was in love with them when I made these Sub Sliders. These are excellent appetizer food for Super Bowl parties and baby showers. Great finger foods. I even had some leftovers, so I took them to work for our staff to enjoy.
