Updated: Dec 16, 2023

This recipe is for a Spicy Crab Ramen Soup, which includes basil, jalapeno peppers, rosemary and OG top ramen noodles, all simmered in a spicy ramen broth. You can top your bowl off with crab legs, jalapenos, and green onions for an easy ramen recipe that you can prepare in the comfort of your home in under half an hour!

If you love spicy ramen, you must try this easy 15-Minute Spicy Ramen Noodle Soup! It’s super easy and so delicious. Serve piping hot, with Fresh Rosemary, Basil, and Topped with Crab Legs.

Who said a bowl of ramen noodles soup is bland? This is anything but a tasteless bowl of soup. I turned a dollar pack of noodles into a gourmet meal. I had some leftover King Crab legs from one of our favorite restaurants Bryant and Cooper.

The hubby and I just celebrated our anniversary there every year. Fun fact this is the restaurant that we had our first date at, so every year we celebrate it there. Since I had leftover Crab Leg and didn’t want it to go to waste, I decided to make myself a nice hearty lunch out of it.

The weather has changed here in New York, and I love making soup dishes around this time of the year. So, I had many fresh ingredients laying around, well, in my garden, so I’m trying to use them before the weather gets cold, and they are no good.

I added some Basil, Rosemary, and for the extra spice, I added some fresh jalapeño peppers. I cooked it in chicken broth for the added flavor. You can make any poultry, meat, or seafood to add to this recipe. I have made this with lobster, grilled chicken, and steak.

For the packaged ramen noodles, you can use fresh ramen or the instant ramen noodle packs they sell at your local grocery stores.

This wonderfully hearty noodle soup is made with dried ramen noodles, chicken broth (but vegetable broth or vegetable stock could be subbed here), fresh veggies, fresh herbs. It’s truly unique.

The good thing about this comforting ramen recipe is it’s SO easy to throw together! On a night where you don’t feel like cooking a home cook meal. The steps are so simple!

  1. Heat pot with unsalted butter ¼ TBS

  2. Then add in Jalapeno and let cook for 30 seconds

  3. Now add in your Basil and Rosemary and let cook for another 15 seconds

  4. Add your Chicken Broth to the Pot

  5. Now it’s time to add your ramen noodles to the post

  6. Let cook for 10 mins with the top on

  7. Now add all your seasoning to the Pot

  8. Add your Crab Legs on any other meats you want with your ramen

  9. Let the crab cook for 3 minutes

  10. Remove Pot from the heat at once! Then divide the soup among bowls.

When it comes to ramen topping, the options are endless! So, top it with whatever sounds good to you!!!
