It is a classic drink that can be enjoyed throughout the year, especially on hot summer days. With just five simple ingredients, these martinis are incredibly easy to make and come with a lemon sugar rim that adds an extra layer of sweetness to the drink.

Lemon Martinis are a must-try for anyone who has recently come of age. This vodka martini recipe is so perfectly balanced that you won't feel any harshness from the alcohol or the tartness of the lemon juice. It's a fantastic blend of sweet and sour flavors that is sure to please your taste buds.

The secret to making the tastiest Lemon

Drop Martini is to use the best-quality Limoncello and take the time to make a homemade lemon sugar rim. This effort enhances the drink's sophistication and makes it feel even more special.

This cocktail is perfect for an indulgent happy hour at home, a girls' night in, or any other celebration. Give it a try, and you'll soon realize why it's my ultimate favorite cocktail!

When making a perfect martini, it's important to pay attention to the ingredients. Firstly, high-quality vodka is preferred, with a smooth texture being the goal. However, if you want your martini to have a super lemony flavor, you can use citron vodka. Moving on to the next crucial element, fresh lemon juice is a must-have ingredient. Using the shelf-stable lemon juice from the store won't work here.

The lemony punch we're aiming for can only come from fresh juice. If you don't want to squeeze your own lemons, you can purchase cold-pressed lemon juice from the refrigerated section of your grocery store. Meyer lemons are the best choice, but if they're not available, regular lemons work just as well. Another ingredient that you'll need is simple syrup. You can either make it at home or buy it from the store. Keeping a jar of this syrup in your refrigerator will come in handy when happy hour rolls around.

Additionally, lemon zest is a crucial ingredient that adds a refreshing aroma and flavor to the martini. It's best to use the zest from the lemon you plan to juice. So, make sure to zest it before you squeeze it.

Lastly, granulated sugar is an essential component for a sugared rim. If your store carries superfine sugar, it's the best choice as it has a grain size between regular and powdered sugar. And if you want to take your martini to the next level, you can add limoncello. This Italian liqueur is made from lemon zest and is traditionally produced in Southern Italy, particularly in Sorrento, Capri, and the Amalfi Coast. It's made using Femminello St. Teresa lemons, a vibrant lemon variety native to the Sorrento Peninsula of Italy.

Ingredients:

2 Oz Lemon Vodka

1 Oz Limoncello

¾ Fresh Lemon Juice

¾ Simply Syrup

Rim with Graduated sugar
