This is not your traditional Margarita; I have combined my two favorites drinks, Lychee Martini and Margarita, to make this fantastic drink. This drink is so refreshing and perfect for enjoying the summer sunshine. I love the lychee and lemon flavors combined. It also has a great taste, which isn’t too strong of alcohol, so be warned the tipsy feeling will sneak up on you! So if you been following my blog, you know I love to be behind my home bar mixing up some summer drinks. This Lychee Margarite is unique and easy and fun to make. It’s a simple recipe with a burst of flavors. Trust me, and this will be your go-to drink for the summer. If you are having a hard time finding lychee in the store, you might want to do what I did and order it from Amazon. I purchased two cans of Lychees for less than $15.00 Bucks
1 1⁄2 ounces Tequila of Choice
1⁄2-ounce Sauvignon Blanc
1⁄2-ounce lemon juice
3⁄4-ounce lychee puree
1⁄2-ounce simple syrup
First pour out the Lychees Syrup in a cup, you probably want to store it for a later day. Pour in the whole can of Lychees in a blender on Puree for 5-10 secs.
Combine all ingredients into a shaker. Add ice and shake for 5-10 seconds. Strain and serve in a glass of choice. I love to use a Martini Glass.garnish with lychees and lime or lemon.
